Volatile Poison (Poison)

What happens?

Targeted: A random player will be targeted with volatile poison.

Why is it bad?

Expansion: After 8 seconds, the poison will drop at your feet and expand to a third of the arena.
Hazardous Ground: The poison creates hazardous areas, dealing massive damage to players.
Downstate: If you go into downstate, you instantly drop the poison.
Interaction: Taking an imbued mushroom will drop the poison.

How to handle:

Movement: Run in the direction the squad has just moved away from, behind the boss, and use the special action key as close to the walls as possible.

Cues:

Visual: An icon will appear above your character's head (Image 1). The Special action key shows above your ability bar (Image 2), and you will have a yellow Border around your screen (Image 3).
Audio: Sound cue.
Voice Callouts: "Poison out."

Tanking (Fixated)

What happens?

Periodically: Every 30 seconds, a random player will become fixated by the boss.

Why is it bad?

Tanking: The boss will aggro onto a new player every 30 seconds, Meaning every player is responsible for boss control.

How to handle:

Awareness: Be aware at all times in case you become the fixated target.
Movement: Move the boss to the next newest safe zone when called or after crowd control (CC).

Cues:

Visual: A purple diamond will appear above your character's head (Image 1), and an announcement will be made (Image 2)
Audio: Sound Cue.

Tantrum (Slam)

What do they look like?

What happens?

Appearing Circles: Slothasor will slam the ground, spawning three circles under each player.

Why is it bad?

Knockdown: The third circle will knock players down, which can lead to getting killed.

How to handle:

Dodging: dodging the circles is recommended.
Side stepping: Move out of the circles.
Skills: You can also block and use invulnerability skills.

Cues:

Visual: The boss will raise its left arm and slam the ground three times.
Voice Callouts: "Dodge."

Fire Breath

What does it look like?

What happens?

Flame thrower: Slothasor will pause, Stand up, and breathe fire towards the current fixated target.

Why is it bad?

Damage: The fire deals damage.

How to handle:

Side step: You can side-step this attack, which is recommended.
Dodge: It can be dodged.
Skill: It can be blocked by skills.

Cues:

Visual: The boss will pause and stand up slightly.

Spore Release (Shake)

What does it look like?

What happens?

Shaking: The boss will shake twice, releasing spores that land on each players last location.

Why is it bad?

Condition Overload: The spores apply multiple conditions - Torment, Poison, Bleeding and burning. To all players hit, with many stacks.

How to handle?

Dodge: Dodging in one direction, then another, to avoid both sets of spores.

Cues:

Visual: The boss will stop all movement and shake. This can be hard to see.
Voice Callouts: "Double Dodge".

Narcolepsy (CC)

What does it look like?

Why is it bad?

Immunity: The boss takes no damage during this skill.
Fear: When the CC phase ends, the boss will roar, causing fear to all players without stability. This may cause affected players to run into poison, which can be lethal.

How to handle:

CC: Use your crowd control (CC) skills to deal damage to the CC bar.
Stacking: You must stack together so that the supports can provide stability. preventing the fear from the boss's roar.

Cues:

Visual: The boss will slump over and go to sleep. There will also be a CC bar below the health bar.
Voice Callouts: "CC".

Enemy Slublings (Adds)

What do they look like?

What happens?

Adds: During the fight, enemy slublings will spawn in frequent intervals.

Why is it bad?

Evolving: Left alone, they will evolve. Evolved slublings corrupt boons, turning them into conditions.

How to handle:

Skills: Use Pull abilities to bring them towards the squad, preferably during or just after a CC phase, When allied slublings are not busy with mushrooms.
